Abstrak

Penyakit tidak menular menjadi masalah kesehatan dunia dan penyakit kardiovaskular menjadi penyebab kematian nomor satu adalah hipertensi. Hipertensi dikontrol dengan terapi farmakoterapi dan disertai kepatuhan, 50% individu tidak patuh minum obat jika tidak adanya dukungan dari keluarga. Dukungan keluarga membantu pasien dalam proses pengontrolan penyakitnya dan dibutuhkan karena memberikan pengaruh positif seperti menentukan program pengobatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan minum obat pasien hipertensi. Desain penelitian korelasi menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional dengan populasi pasien rawat jalan yang menderita hipertensi. Sampel penelitian adalah 94 pasien hipertensi yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan teknik sampling Purposive Sampling. Variabel independen dukungan keluarga dan variabel dependen kepatuhan minum obat. Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dukungan keluarga dan kepatuhan minum obat dianalisis dengan Uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan minum obat pasien hipertensi (p=0,000<α=0,05). Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan seseorang terhadap pentingnya dukungan keluarga terhadap kepatuhan minum obat. Hypertension is controlled with pharmacotherapy therapy and accompanied by adherence, 50% of non-compliant individuals take the drug in the absence of support from the family. Family support helps patients in the process of controlling the disease and is needed because it gives a positive influence such as determining the treatment program. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relation of family support with adherence to taking hypertensive patients' medications. The design of the correlation study uses a cross sectional approach with the population of outpatients suffering from hypertension. The research sample was 94 hypertensive patients who met the criteria of inclusion and exclusion with Purposive Sampling techniques. Independent variables of family’s support and dependent variables of medication adherence. Data collection through family support questionnaires and medication adherence was analyzed with the Chi Square Test. The results showed a relationship of family support with adherence to taking hypertensive patients' medications (p=0.000<α=0.05).It’s hoped that this research can improve one’s knowledge of the importance of family support of medication adherence.
