Abstrak

Organizational factors are considered to be significantly influential on the achievement of professional services excellence reflected in nurses' performances either based on quantitative or qualitative assessment. The main purpose of this research was to identify selected organizational factors; management of nursing, leadership style, incentives, organizational structure and job design influencing emergency nurses' performance. This descriptive quantitative study used total sampling technique of 33 nurses in the Emergency Department, in a Government Hospital in Banjarmasin. All data obtained by administering questionnaires to the informants. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Overall, the results showed that organizational factors have positive significant influences toward emergency nurses' performances. Management of nursing, transformational style, and work design have positive influences, but not significantly influences toward emergency nurses' performances. On the other hand, incentives and organizational structure positively and significantly influences toward emergency nurses' performances. In sum, incentives is the most dominant factor influencing toward emergency nurses' performances. Key Words : organizational factors, emergency nurses’ performances
