Abstrak

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global public health problem with an increasing prevalence and incidence of kidney failure, poor prognosis and high cost. The prevalence of CKD increases with the increase in the number of elderly people and the incidence of diabetes mellitus and hypertension. The main complaint most often felt by people with chronic renal failure is shortness of breath. The writing of the Final Scientific Paper of Nurse aims to analyze the management with chronic kidney disease in the Women/Men's Internal Medicine room of RSUD Ulin Hospital. The innovation intervention used is foot massage innovation therapy. Based on the results of the analysis data, it can be concluded that the results of the intervention on the case of chronic kidney disease patients showed that the results of measuring respiratory rate and blood pressure decreased after the intervention. This means that there is an effect of foot massage on the decrease in respiratory rate and blood pressure before and after the intervention is given although the decline was not very significant. It is hoped that CKD sufferers with complaints of shortness of breath can do this foot massage independently so that it makes the body relax and there can be a decrease in respiratory rate and blood pressure. Keywords: chronic kidney disease, foot massage, respiratory rate, blood pressure
