Abstrak

The incidence of phlebitis is an indicator of the quality of minimum service hospital with the standard events of ≤ 1,5 (Depkes, 2008). The incidence of phlebitis is defined as the swelling, redness and pain along a vein in the area of infusion to < 72 hour. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of nurses in implementing compliance SOP installation infusion with the incidence of phlebitis at the emergency unit of Hospitals of The Islamic Banjarmasin. The methods used in the research was an observational analityc with cross sectional design. The study population was all patients in accident and emergency unit that the action has been done the infusion which meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A large sample of 20 respondents using purposive sampling. After the data obtained is then performed statistical test spearman rho the results obtained p value = 0,008 < α = 0,05. Conclusion there is a significant relationship between adherence to nurse carry out the SOP installation infusion with the incidence of phlebitis at the emergency unit of Hospitals of The Islamic Banjarmasin.
