Abstrak

The imbalance in glucose production causes the patient to be in an edematous condition so that with unbalanced glucose levels it causes cellulitis, both of these conditions cause the patient to experience pain during activities and a decrease in muscle scale in the patient's extremities. Type II diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin, which causes the body's cells to become resistant to the action of insulin. Some of the symptoms that appeared in this patient made it possible for passive ROM therapy to be carried out as a support for treatment. After 5 days it was given as passive ROM exercise therapy to get the results of the upper extremities: dextra on a scale of 4 to 5, sinistra on a scale of 4 to 5 and lower extremities: dextra on a scale of 1 to 3, sinistra on a scale of 1 to 3. From the results of the intervention given, Passive ROM therapy can be applied to patients with impaired physical mobility with Diabetes mellitus. Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus Type II, Impaired Physical Mobility, Passive ROM: 27 (2015-2021)
