Abstrak

Background: Excess fluid volume exceeding 5% in chronic renal disease patients undergoing hemodialysis may increase intradialysis blood pressure, which, if left untreated, will lead to further complications of cardiovascular system disorders, respiratory and cerebrovascular systems. Objective: To know the correlation of excess liquid volume with the increase of intradialysis blood pressure at Hemodialisa Installation of RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Method: This research used Analytic Observation research method with cross-sectional design. Population of all hemodialysis patients in space Hemodialisa, the sample of the study amounted to 32 clients. Sampling with Sampling Sampling Technique. By statistical test data using Kendall Tau-b Test Result: The result of the research shows that there is correlation of fluid volume excess with increase of intradialysis blood pressure with P value 0,027 <0,05 and Correlation Coeffecient (r): 0,331. The results of the study found that excess fluid volume may result in an increase in intradialysis blood pressure, in which case it may be considered to make standard operational procedures of providing information to clients and families to prevent increased excess fluid volume.
