Abstrak

Low birth weight (LBW) babies are babies born with a birth weight of less than 2,500 grams, the problem that occurs in LBW is one of them is thermoregulation. One of the management of LBW with thermoregulation disorders is Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC). In Murotal's research on LBW babies, it has calming benefits for babies, and can stabilize the baby's heart work system, reading and listening to the Qur'an to babies can create a sense of love for the Creator. Methodology in this scientific work using a case study design with a single case. With the subject Baby with the initials By. Mrs K with male gender was born on January 10, 2022. After being studied and analyzed by him. Mrs. K has a nursing problem Ambient temperature fluctuations are related to thermoregulation ineffectiveness. As an excellent intervention given by nurses is the provision of KMC with Murrotal. Based on the results of the implementation for 3 days given KMC and Murrotal, the results obtained with an average temperature of 36.50C and the reaction seen by the baby looked comfortable and calm and warm.
