Abstrak
The incidence of gastritis is still one of the high non-communicable disease problems in Indonesia, this is supported by the high incidence of gastritis. Gastritis can be influenced by several factors, the most common factor is lifestyle. A badlifestyle is usually influenced by a person's level of knowledge. The aim of this study was generally to determine the influence of health education on outpatient knowledge about gastritis prevention at Karang Mekar Health Center. This study used a Pre Experimental Design with a one group Pretest-Postest design. This research was conducted at Karang Mekar Health Center. The population of this study were all outpatients at Karang Mekar Health Center. The sample of this study amounted to 30 (respondents) outpatients. This research was conducted from November - July 2023. Bivariate analysis used is the Wilcoxon test. Data collection used is a questionnaire. Obtained from the Wilcoxon test the independent variable influence the dependent variable with the results of p value = 0.000 < a 0.05. Based on the results and discussion, it is found that there is an effect of health education on the knowledge of outpatients about gastritis prevention at Karang Mekar health center.
