Abstrak

Hospitalization is one of the causes of stress for children, in the world's children being hospitalized 57 million children each year where 75% experience trauma in the form of fear and anxiety while undergoing treatment. Anxiety is the most common feeling experienced by pediatric patients who experience hospitalization. Preschoolers even if in the stage of hospitalization and will perform surgery are included. This study iams to determine The Effect of Lego Play Therapy on a Preschoolers Anxiety Level Due To Hospitalization. This study used Quasy Experimental with the Pretest-Posttest Control Group design plan. This research was conducted at Regional Public Hospital dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh Banjarmasin in June-July 2023. The population in the study were all pediatric patients preschoolers in emerald room 2nd floor. Sample of the study is 15 children for intervention group and 15 children for control group. Bivariate analysis used the Wilxcon Test. The results before intervention for the most anxiety levels are mild anxiety and moderate Anxiety with each 7 people (46.7%) and after intervention the most anxiety levels is no anxiety 9 people (60%). The test with wilcoxon signed rank test is 0.000<0.005, so there is an effect of lego play therapy on a preschoolers anxiety level due to hospitalization. So lego play therapy can be reduce anxiety on preschoolers. The hospital is expected to be able to determine the SOP for playing lego therapy as a method that is applied to reduce the child's anxiety level due to hospitalization.
