Coronary heart disease is a coronary artery disease with narrowing in the coronary arteris. The narrowing is caused by artherosclerosis. This research is a quantitative research with quasy experiment research design (post-test group design). The population in this research is all coronary heart disease patient who experience typical pain (mild-moderate) hospitalized in ICCU and alamanda room. It was found that relaxation benson and slow deep breathing were equally effective in reducing the pain scale in coronary heart disease patient with the result of slow deep breathing sig score. 0,047<0,05 and benson reksation 0,002<0,05, and comparative test with mann whitney test obtained result value of sig, 0,021 which mean there is difference of effctivity, and from value mean bensin relaxation is more effective in reducing pain.
