Abstrak

This narrative research aims to find out the responses from the experiences of teachers and students in offline and online learning in English classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on structured interview data, we found that the impact of COVID-19 affected participants' feelings and activities during the change in learning from offline to online in one semester. The four participants mentioned different experiences from each other in facing various challenges during the pandemic. This study examines which one they found effective between offline and online learning. Furthermore, they mentioned their experiences in facing challenges and using strategies in dealing with changes in English learning from offline to online.
